The colors in this Fall inspired makeup look aren’t necessarily your typical Fall colors, but I think they work! Do you?

The Inspiration Behind This Fabulous Fall Makeup Look

Besides bold and beautiful Fall colors, the inspiration behind this look came from a face and body stencil that I purchased from Wet n Wild. I can always rely on Wet n Wild during this time of the year to release wow-worthy products that are, as you can see, inspiring!
Creating My Fall Inspired Makeup Look

I started with my eye makeup. All of the colors that I used are from the Lime Crime Pocket Candy Eyeshadow Palette in Pink Lemonade. Lime Crime has made my favorite pressed eyeshadows for a long time now. I love how pigmented their eyeshadow shades are and how easy they are to blend.
For this looked I used the entire palette. I used the typical Fall colors brown and yellow, but I also threw in some pops of pink! I blended, lined, and highlighted my eyes with the Lime Crime eyeshadow shades: Brown Sugar, Pink Jelly, Lemonade, Strawberry, and Baby Cake.
Adding Fall Inspired Accents

For the leaf accents on the right side of my face, I blended together all of these shades. I used the Wet n Wild Fantasy Makers leaf stencil as my guide. I faded darker colors into lighter ones, trying to recreate the look of fallen leaves on the ground.
In retrospect, I would have skipped the Lemonade shade. Alternatively, I would have only used it in the center of each leaf design. Where I use the Lemonade shade on the large leaf, the outline of the leaf gets lost against my skin. Unfortunately, that part of the leaf is left undefined.
Completing the Look

To create a completely themed look, I didn’t need a wig to match my hair color to my eyeshadow color. My hair is already brown! After styling my new hair cut, I added a faux-leather headband with a bow to accessorize my look. I was recently talking with my hairstylist about how we’re loving that big headbands are quickly becoming a Fall trend. That is actually what gave me the idea to put on this beige headband with a bow.

I like the idea of wearing a big bow. I shave my head with a razor every few days, because my face and scalp are basically a backdrop for my face tattoos and piercings now:) I don’t need hair to accent with a big pretty bow, though.
Is pressed eyeshadow different from other kids of eyeshadow? I like to line my upper lids with a thick liner marker, then accent underneath with almost any color of shadow. I use a Q-Tip to apply it. Then I blend shadow on my brow bones and top it off with highlighter. Getting rid of my hair and brows really expanded my face as a canvas and it works well for me ???? I am excited about following your blog and getting more ideas. I love the leaf, I think it looks great!
