Ways to Celebrate the Summer Solstice
In honor of the sun, put on bright summery colors today, preferably yellow. Get outside and enjoy the sun and the nature around you. If you’re lucky enough to live near water, go for a swim!
While you’re outside you could politely gather some flowers, don’t destroy any flower beds or gardens, and create a flower crown. Starting your very own flower garden or planting some new flowers in your existing garden are also great ways to get into nature and celebrate.

Being the beginning of a new season, today is a great day to reflect. Think about what you’re grateful for or practice some yoga. It’s the perfect day for a Sun Salutation! If you keep a journal, today would be a great day to set intentions for the upcoming season and what you’d like to accomplish.
If you have little ones, try some sun or summer themed activities. Lately, we’ve been having a great time creating suncatchers. We’ve been using this kit and they come out great. Reading a summer- or nature-themed book, in the back yard or in a park, would also be a great thing to do.
It’s the first day of Summer and the longest day of the year, whatever you do, gather some loved ones and get outside and embrace the day!
How do you plan on celebrating?

Happy Summer!

This is such an amazing post! Love it! Yellow is my favorite color, so I’m definitely gonna be wearing a lot of yellow blouses and dresses this summer hehe! ????Also, I’ll definitely have to get back into yoga — that’s a great idea!! I used to take a yoga class in high school, but kinda stopped. I’m gonna make that a goal this summer!! x
