To start off this sunny Sunday morning we headed to dance class at ODC Dance Commons, the professional studio that my daughter and I both love attending. As always, after dropping our little one off for class my husband and I headed out to grab some coffee and tea. Normally we make the small journey to Craftsman & Wolves on Valencia St., but today we headed down the block to Robin’s Cafe. I love Robin’s Cafe when the weather is warm because they serve Cold Brewed Green Tea on tap and it’s amazing. This is the first and only place I’ve ever seen that serves green tea on tap.
After class, we took my mom to mass at the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption. I have been dying to see the inside of this church. I pass it on a somewhat regular basis and with such a dramatic outside, I knew the inside had to be spectacular. No surprise here, it was. The soaring ceiling, colorful columns of stained glass, and sparkling chandelier were stunning. Not to mention, the oversized wall of windows in each corner of the cathedral offering sweeping views of San Francisco. Unless mass is taking place, this cathedral is open to tours and I’d recommend checking it out.
For our sunny Sunday in San Francisco, I went for pastel colors when getting dressed. It was Easter so I first went for my pale pink dress from LOFT. I’ve had this dress for over a year and have found so many great uses for it. Continuing with color, I pulled on a purple pair of tights. I then slipped on my favorite slip-on sneakers. This embellished pair of casual sneakers are Coach, but I snagged them on sale last year at Nordstrom Rack.
It was a beautiful day and I’m so glad that we got to enjoy it doing things we love and visiting a place we haven’t had a chance to visit before. How was your Easter Sunday? Did you have good weather where you live? I hope you did! Have a great weekend!
