RITUALS Cosmetics in Palo Alto

RITUALS Cosmetics continues to extend its reach across the San Francisco Bay Area. From Walnut Creek to Palo Alto, I had the pleasure of attending the Rituals Grand Opening event. It was held at one of my all-time favorite shopping centers, the Standford Shopping Center. The evening was full of amazing bath and body products and clean cosmetics. Therefore, I enjoyed every moment of it!

Rituals Cosmetics in Stanford Shopping Center

Rituals Cosmetics White Flower Arch

The brand new Rituals Cosmetics in Standford Shopping Center is located near Tiffany & Co. It’s next to Weekend MaxMara. This prime location is easy to get to from the parking garage across from Macy’s. Walking past Macy’s, my jaw dropped. Rounding the corner, Rituals came into view. I soaked in the gorgeous white floral arch decorating the 9-foot tall doorway. It was stunning and provided an excellent backdrop for photos!

The Grand Opening of Rituals Cosmetics

Blue Wish Ribbons at Stanford Shopping Center

Upon entering the celebration, a light blue ribbon was secured to each guest’s wrist. Each guest was asked to make a wish. After the ribbon naturally came undone, your wish would come true. By the time my ribbon came off, I was already home relaxing. Did my wish come true? I’ll never tell!

Customized Flower Bouquet at Stanford Shopping Center

After receiving my ribbon, I walked to my right where a local florist was putting together custom floral arrangements. I chose my flowers and took some suggestions from one of the florists. It’s always a good idea to let professionals work their magic. The floral bouquet I chose had a wonderful scent. I was able to enjoy this scent throughout the rest of the evening.

Making a Rituals Cosmetics Wish

Wishing Tree Cards

I then gravitated to the focal point of every Rituals Cosmetics boutique. The hand-painted tree in the center of the store. For the Grand Opening of Rituals in Stanford Shopping Center, each guest was encouraged to write down a wish, a mantra, or anything inspirational. The cards containing your writing were hung from the branches of the tree. It was a beautiful sight to see. I enjoyed reading the other sentiments shared.

Additional Inspirational Words

Rituals Cosmetics Gel Cream and Refill

The floral arrangements were not the only customizable part of this evening. Like the customizable bouquets, artists were available to customize body cream jars. The options were either a Ritual of Hammam Body Cream jar or a Ritual of Sakura Body Cream jar. One artist was using a wood-burning technique. She etched a word or phrase of inspiration into the lid of the body cream jar of your choice. The other artist used calligraphy. I chose to have the body cream of my favorite scent, The Ritual of Hammam personalized. In gold writing, I chose to have the word “relax” written across the top of my body cream jar. Although this may seem wasteful, Rituals Cosmetics sells refills of their body creams. I’ll never need to replace this jar. I can simply refill it as many times as I’d like, always with the reminder: relax.

The Ritual of Cleopatra

RITUALS Cosmetics The Ritual of Cleopatra

To learn more about The Ritual of Cleopatra, I headed to the makeup counter. Rituals Cosmetics makeup products contain pulverized gemstones. For this reason, their cosmetics give you a radiant glow. I decided to try on the Miracle Foundation and the Miracle Compact Powder Universal. After trying the Miracle Foundation, I found that it blended seamlessly into my skin. Next, I tried the Miracle Compact Powder. The result was exactly what I was looking for. The Miracle Compact Powder refreshed my look. It also made sure I stayed matte. As a result, I purchased both products and the brushes that go with them!

Rituals Cosmetics US

Before the end of the night, I enjoyed a glass of champagne. I listened to Marjolein Westerbeek, President RITUALS US and all of the other women behind the Grand Opening event. These women shared introductions and beautiful words of inspiration and thanks. Following their words of wisdom, the entire party was led in meditation. Leight Winters, Neuroscientist + Natural Beauty Expert led the serene meditation. She also shared the unique and wonderful things Rituals is doing with their products.

It truly is interesting! I love that each line of scents is based on a ritual that takes place somewhere in the world. My favorite rituals scent is The Ritual of Hammam!
