Oh Hey, 2019!

Happy New Year! I hope you don’t have a headache reading this, but if you do, I hope you had a fun night last night! My family and I had a marvelous evening of watching movies and lounging.

Last night, and for the past few weeks, I’ve been thinking about how I want to move my blog and YouTube channel forward in the new year. This past year brought amazing things:

  • I officially started referring to myself as what I am, a Social Media Influencer.
  • I began working on my blog, channel, and social media platforms full time.
  • I completed my first national campaign.
  • I monetized my channel.
  • I set up my Patreon page.
  • I published several sponsored pieces and received countless products to test and review.

I can’t thank all of you reading this enough. Your support means the world to me and is what makes all of this possible.

In 2019 I’d like to focus my content and publish new content according to a schedule. These two goals will give you a better idea of what to expect on my blog and when to expect it.

I’ve dabbled in many topics since the beginning of my blogging, Outfits & Outings, Toddler Activities, Products Reviews, Makeup Tutorials, Online Sale Alerts, and more. Lately, I’ve been gravitating toward wellness and self-care. This year I’d like to focus on those two topics first and foremost. I plan to consciously select the products and brands that I use and review. I’ll be narrowing in on products that make me feel good. You know how certain products put a little smile on your face, I want to talk about those!

I also plan on discussing more things that one can do to take care of themselves or enjoy a little me time. This could mean sharing a stress-free DIY project, my experience receiving a spa treatment, a yoga class I’ve discovered, or a moisturizing skin care routine.

I really enjoy creating “Get Ready With Me” videos and makeup tutorial posts so I will continue with those. Makeup time is me time in my opinion so I think that it fits into this new wellness and self-care focus. The change here, as mentioned before, will be the types of products I use and what brands they come from.

I plan to post on my blog twice a week and on my YouTube channel twice a week. I will post on all of my other social media platforms at least once a day. Surprise posts and videos may pop up here and there, but regularly I plan to stick to this schedule:

Blog Posts: Mondays and Wednesdays at 9:30am PST

YouTube Videos: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3:30pm PST – Thursdays videos will be premiered*.

*Premiering videos means that we can live chat as they play for the very first time on YouTube. Tune in at 3:30pm PST on Thursdays to chat with me while watching my newest videos!

Exclusive content for my patrons will be published on Fridays on my Patreon page.

If I ever need to put this schedule on hold or skip a day, I will let you know through announcements on my Facebook Page and Twitter.

I will begin following my new schedule on January 14, 2019. Until then I’ll be hanging out with my little one while she’s on winter break and preparing new content for you to enjoy!

What are your thoughts on all of this? As a reader of my content, I’d like to make sure that it remains relevant to you! Please share your thoughts in the comments below.
