For the first time, I did a Get Ready With Me (#GRWM) video in real time! While getting ready to go to my husband’s office party last Friday, I recorded a video of the makeup look I created while I was putting it on for the party. After I closed out the video, off to the party I went! Here’s the step-by-step on how to create this look along with some party pics.

Step-by-Step Holiday Party Makeup Tutorial
Create the perfect, smooth canvas by applying a makeup primer.
Conceal any redness with a neutralizing color correcting concealer.
Apply and blend in a long-lasting, medium-full coverage foundation that has a natural finish.
Use concealer as necessary to cover blemishes, remaining redness, and to brighten dark undereye circles. You may want to use more than one concealer for this, one for under your eyes and one for anywhere else that needs a little concealing.
Fill in your brows with a brow gel that matches your natural brow color.
Dab a shimmering gold highlighter over your entire eyelid, layer if necessary until you create your desired amount of sparkle.
Line your upper lash line with black liquid eyeliner.
Apply false lashes.
Blend the false lashes into your natural lashes using a tiny bit of mascara.
Blend in a light bronzer under your cheekbones, under the middle of your bottom lip, and along either side of the bridge of your nose.
Give your cheeks some color without taking the attention away from your enchanting eyes by brushing on a medium mauve-colored blush.
Grab a subtle highlighter, nothing too flashy due to the shimmer already on your eyes. Blend this highlighter onto your temples and around the corner of your eyes. Then, swipe the highlighter halfway down the bridge of your nose. You can also use the highlighter to brighten up your cupid’s bow, this will define your lips and make your lip color pop.
Apply a powder red lip color, I’ve been loving this one. A bright red color gives your look a festive, party-ready vibe.
Make sure your look lasts as long as you do by spritzing on a setting spray.
The most important step of all: look in the mirror, smile, and take a moment to admire yourself!
