When it comes to luxury and your lips, Miracle Lip Balms from Emile Cordon are the greatest gift you can give yourself! I’m already in love with Emile Cordon Cashmere-On Lip Pots, but I now have a new obsession, Emile Cordon’s Miracle Lip Balms. The Lip Pots are amazing, but they provided shine, not color. The Miracle Lip Balms do it all, they feel just as nourishing as the Lip Pots, they provide a blinding amount of shine, and most of them give your lips a tasteful touch of color.
Here are the Miracle Lip Balms Emile Cordon sent me to try:
- St. Barts Soleil (Limited Edition)
- Mandarin Garden
- Powdered Rose
- Chic Chic Boom
- Charlotte (Limited Edition)
- Madison Queen
With the exceptions of St. Barts Soleil and Mandarin Garden, all of these lip balms give your lips a beautiful color. TBH, St. Barts Soleil and Mandarin Garden are lovely and needed when I’m looking for sheer shine, but I was truly thrilled to try out the Miracle Lip Balms that contained color.
Like the Cashmere-On Lip Pots, the Miracle Lip Balms are multi-functional. They can be used on lips and cheeks. On cheeks, they create a dewy, customizable glow. The color in any of the tinted balms can be layered to create a subtle flush of color or a bold showcase of it.
Each of the tinted Miracle Lip Balms have notes of Rose Champagne and Strawberry Leaves. The Limited Edition St. Barts Soleil has notes of Fresh Coconut, Pineapple, and Vanilla Accord. Mandarin Orange has notes of Italian Orange Blossom and Orange Flower. I find the scents of the tinted lip balms to be subtle. The Mandarin Orange has a refreshingly bright citrus scent. The scent of the St. Barts Soleil balm is my favorite, I love the coconut and vanilla, plus the splash of pineapple that makes it smell really divine. As the name would suggest, the scent will transport you to the sunny sands of St. Barts.
To soothe and smooth your lips the Miracle Lip Balms are made with the Key Ingredients: KuKui Nut Oil, Almond Oil, Vitamine E, and Squalane. These lip balms keep lips hydrated for a couple of hours, eating and drinking will wear off a significant amount of the balm, but a quick swipe will bring you back to marvelously moisturized lips.
Application is pretty straightforward, apply a thin layer to lips as desired throughout the day. If you’d like, warm it between your fingers then smooth it into your lips. Each lip balm also comes with a little clear scoop that could be used to apply the lip balm if you’d prefer to keep your fingertips clean. This is the method I used when trying on each of the lip balms in my swatching/try-on video below.
The Miracle Lip Balms, which are made right here in the U.S.A., vary in price, but all of them can be purchased on EmileCordon.com.
- St. Barts Soleil – $60.00
- Mandarin Orange – $52.00
- Powdered Rose, Chic Chic Boom, Charlotte, Madison Queen – $65.00
Yes, these lip balms are pricey, but if there are lip balms that are worth it, it’s these. As I’m sure you know, you get what you pay for. Any of these Miracle Lip Balms would make a generous gift for any ladies you’re shopping for this holiday season. They’d also make glorious birthday gifts.
