Beauty Featured Makeup Look Makeup Tutorial

A Romantic Makeup Look

EVERY month this year I'm going to be creating a themed makeup look and giving you the breakdown to easily re-create it on yourself! My makeup looks are going to be inspired by the Too Faced Boss Lady Beauty Agenda.

February Makeup Tutorial

As you may know, the Too Faced Beauty Agenda includes a makeup tutorial for each month of the year. When I create my looks, I’ll follow these makeup tutorials while putting my own twist on things. If you don’t have this palette, don’t worry, I’ll share each look in a way that you can re-create it with whatever makeup you do have on hand.

from January’s Makeup Look Post

Let’s get started with February’s theme: Love Struck. As it says in the Beauty Agenda:

Fall in love with romantically beautiful shades that will warm your heart and your cheekbones too.

Sounds lovely! Let’s create it!

Step-by-Step Guide

This guide is inspired by Too Faced, but given to you in my own words and with my own added twists. Boss Lady Beauty Agenda palette shade names are in parentheses, just in case you do have that palette handy.

FACE MAKEUP

1.) Apply and blend in your favorite powder or liquid foundation.

2.) Use concealer as necessary to cover blemishes and brighten dark under eye circles.

EYE MAKEUP

3.) Start by highlighting your brow bones and the inner corners of your eyes with a soft, yet shimmery cream-colored eyeshadow (Christmas Dream).

4.) Blend a muted mauve eyeshadow (Love Actually) into the crease of your eyelids.

5.) Press a shimmery soft pink (Slay Bells) onto your eyelids.

6.) Smudge a deep, matte brown (Pinecone) along your lash line, then curve it up into your crease. Use a wet angled brush for bolder color.

FINISHING TOUCHES

7.) Use a bronzer (Chocolate Soleil) to bronze your hairline, cheekbones, and jawline.

8.) Highlight (#Blessed) your cheekbones, the bridge of your nose, and your cupids bow.

9.) Apply a matte, smokey orchid lip color to your lips.

10.) Line the outer corners of your water lines with black eyeliner.

11.) Swipe a tinted brow gel onto your eyebrows.

12.) Set the look with a setting spray or powder.

13.) Kick things up a notch with false lashes or apply your favorite lengthening mascara.
