BEAUTYCOUNTER is one of those brands I’ve had my eye on, but haven’t had an opportunity to try out yet. When BEAUTYCOUNTER Consultant Lisa contacted me to see if I’d like to try a product for review, I eagerly said yes and was so excited to finally put one of their products to the test.
First and foremost, it has an expiration date printed at the very top. Yay! I hope ALL makeup brands start printing expiration dates ASAP.
The packaging is very classic, it brings Elizabeth Arden, Estée Lauder, and other iconic makeup brands to mind. The tube is a soft silver with gold lettering on one side and information printed in black on the other. The cap is shiny gold, popping the cap off exposes the pump used to dispense the product.
The size of the product is convenient for travel and I think that it would easily slip into most makeup bags.
This tinted moisturizer has a creamy, yet lightweight feel to it. It goes on sheer and blends in easily to give your skin a natural, dewy look. Being a product with SPF in it, you may think that this product must be thick. Trust me, it isn’t! Even wearing it over my regular moisturizer and under a full coverage liquid foundation, I don’t feel any heaviness on my skin while wearing it.
INGREDIENTS & CLAIMS
This product promises to even out your skin tone, while protecting it from the sun and giving you a luminous glow. As stated in the description on beautycounter.com:
” . . . Black currant, peony flower root extract, and vitamin C reduce the appearance of age spots and enhance skin brightness, while sodium hyaluronate promotes firmer, smoother-looking skin.”
I find these claims to hold up, BEAUTYCOUNTER Dew Skin Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 did give my skin a dewy glow and it did help even out and smooth my skin tone overall.
Adding this product into your skin care/makeup routine is simple. Dispense 2 pumps onto your finger tips and smooth it onto your entire face. Applying this tinted moisturizer with a brush is also an option.
You can wear this product alone or over a moisturizer. I’ve been opting to wear it over my regular moisturizer, I follow this up with a full coverage foundation and concealer for a flawless complexion.

Yes, I recommend it! It works as a wonderful combined moisturizer and sunscreen. I think of it as a 3-in-1 product. It combines the benefits of a moisturizer, BB Cream, and sunscreen.
The shade range isn’t extensive, but since it is so sheer I think that all skin tones could make it work. It is available in 5 shades.
If I haven’t convinced you to give this a try yet, then consider this: it is an allure 2015 Best of Beauty Award Winner! That’s always a good sign.
