Today I will be unboxing my recent e.l.f. Cosmetics online purchases. I bought a total of 9 products for under $30!
I made these purchases during a recent 50% Off sale and while that particular sale is no longer happening you can always count on e.l.f. to have great prices whether they have a sale going on or not! Let’s open up the shipping box and see what I got! I will give you a run down of each product I purchased, how I’ll use it, and what it costs full price.
The shipping box is plain and simple, it is a brown cardboard shipping box. It doesn’t have any logos or any markings on it that make it stand out. That’s fine because I’ll be keeping and using the products, not the box they came in. See my unboxing video below to get a glimpse of the shipping box.
Opening the box, the products are not wrapped in tissue paper or any type of packaging paper. There is nothing fancy about this packaging at all. Even the packing sheet has as little information on it as possible, there is a list of the products I purchased but no pricing information. No big deal, the pricing can be looked up online if needed.
Now, let’s take a look at the products I received!
Just so you know: I may get a commission if you purchase any products after clicking the links in this post. Using my links to shop is a great way to support my blog!
THE e.l.f. COSMETICS CONCEALERS
HD Lifting Concealer – $3.00
I initially made this purchase to try out some e.l.f. concealers, I already love e.l.f.’s corrective concealers and wanted to see if their regular concealers are just as great. The first product I added to my cart was the HD Lifting Concealer. It, like many of these products, is packaged in e.l.f.’s signature matte black box with white lettering. I purchased this in the shade Fair, there is a close-up of the shade and applicator in my unboxing video below. I plan on using this concealer to cover my dark circles and brighten my eyes. It’s full retail price is $3.00.
Correct & Set Under Eye Powder – $4.00
To lock the HD Lifting Concealer in place, I next wanted to give the Correct & Set Under Eye Powder a try. This tiny pot of powder is smaller than I expected, but since I’m only going to use it under my eyes to set the HD Lifiting Concealer in place, I predict that it will last a fairly long time. I purchased it in the shade Banana and it’s full retail price is $4.00.
For concealing imperfections and redness, I went for the Maximum Coverage Concealer in Nude. I like that this concealer is oil free, since I have combination skin, and I’m hoping that it will give me long-lasting, full coverage. Its full retail price is $3.00.
THE e.l.f. COSMETICS LIP PRODUCTS
Velvet Matte Lipstick in Dark Brown and Deep Burgundy- $3.00
I think the way that I’ll use these lipsticks is pretty obvious – I’m going to put them on my cheeks. JK, already having this lipstick in Blushing Brown, I know that this lipstick gives gorgeous color and is moisturizing. It’s infused with Argan Oil, Rose, and Vitamin E. The color feels comfortable and is surprisingly long-lasting. Each lipstick is $3.00.
Lip Liner & Blending Brush– $3.00
I plan on using this liner to line my lips and make lipstick application easier. I’ll try using it with my Blushing Brown Velvet Matte Lipstick to see how it looks, but I think its best match will be the Velvet Matte Lipstick in Dark Brown. This liner doesn’t require sharpening and the brush will help blend color evenly. This liner/brush duo is $3.00.
THE e.l.f. COSMETICS BLENDING TOOLS
Multifaceted Perfector Sponge – $9.00
The second priciest product on the list is this makeup sponge. I purchased this to easily blend concealer around my eyes and nose, it should work great in small areas and corners. For foundation, I’ll flip this sponge around and use the flocked end. The flocked end blends and buffs for flawless coverage. This diamond-shaped makeup sponge is $9.00 full price, I like the 50% off price I paid for this much better than that!
Glitter Silicone Blending Duo – $8.00
I purchased these silicone makeup blenders because I was curious about them and I love the silver glitter they’re filled with! I’ve never used silicone makeup blenders before, so when I saw e.l.f. release these in September I knew I’d be purchasing them sooner or later. Silicone blenders are special because they allow you to apply and blend makeup without wasting a single drop of product. Unlike makeup sponges, that absorb some product, these apply skin care and makeup products without any waste. This duo is $8.00, not bad for 2 blenders.
THE e.l.f. COSMETICS BROW KIT
Brows that Wow Set – $10.00
Finally, being the Holiday season, I had to throw a gift set in my purchase!
This Cruelty Free and Vegan Brow Product Gift Set Includes:
