There are so many good things to say about Emile Cordon Lip Pots, where do I start!? My Emile Cordon obsession began when I was contacted by the brand and asked if I’d be interested in trying out their Cashmere-On Lip Pots. In all honesty, I’d never heard of them before that moment, but am thrilled to have been introduced to them! Emile Cordon graciously sent me 2 Lip Pots: No. 1 LISA and No. 72 COCO.
Each Lip Pot’s scent is formulated by a New York perfumer. No. 1 LISA has notes of Rosé Champagne, Fresh Tea Rose, and Strawberry Leaves. No. 72 COCO has notes of White Coconut Cake, Vanilla Accord, and Powder Sugar. Don’t both of those sound absolutely scrumptious? They smell divine. Both scents go on sheer, No. 1 LISA has a pink tint in the pot, but the pink isn’t noticeable while you’re wearing the product. Both scents do have a very fine shimmer, this adds to the dewy shine they deliver while being worn on your lips, eyes, and/or cheeks.
That’s correct, the use of Emilie Cordon Lip Pots goes beyond your lips. You can use these pots to highlight your cheeks, tame your brows, or give your eyelids a beautifully natural, yet dewy look. You know how much I LOVE multi-tasking products, and the uses don’t even stop there! You can also use these lip pots to nourish your cuticles or to soothe your skin after sun exposure.
When using the Lip Pots as a lip product, they have many benefits. They heal & soften chapped lips, give a lip plumping effect, reduce the appearance of lip lines, are anti-aging, and they improve circulation in the skin. Number one, out of all of the benefits, is that these lip pots are moisturizing and they will protect your lips from the drying effects of the sun. They do not contain SPF, so be sure to put some on when going out into the sun.
I’m thrilled to see that Emile Cordon Lip Pots are formulated without Petrolatum, Parabens, Sulfates, Phthalates, GMOs, and Triclosan. Instead of all that, active ingredients include Evening Primrose Oil and Vitamin E.
To apply as a lip gloss, swirl some onto your ring finger and pat it onto your lips. Alternatively, you could use the scoop that each lip pot comes with to remove product from the pot and then use as desired.
This kind of luxurious, multi-tasking moisturizer does not come cheap. Each pot is available to you at $42.00. They can be purchased on EmileCordon.com.
In these photos, I’m wearing No. 72 COCO on my lips, cheek bones, and eyelids. I love the shine it gives my overall natural makeup look.
Bottom Line: I’ve used the Cashmere-On Lip Pots as a moisturizing lip gloss, highlighter on my cheek bones, and on my eyelids to add some dewiness. They add a sleek shine, that feels light and moisturizing. They aren’t sticky and each scent smells delectable. I love them!
I hope you found this Emile Cordon Lip Pot review helpful! What’s your favorite lip product?
