BarkBox September 2017 Subscription Box Review

For today's Sunday Funday post, I'll be reviewing a different kind of subscription box - one for your furry babies!

September 2017 Bark Box

The BarkBox Break Down:

This monthly box of joy for your furry children includes dog toys, treats, and gifts. Specifically, each month you can expect to receive 2 toys (that area seriously durable), 2 bags of all-natural treats, and 1 chew. Each month has a fun theme, for example this month’s theme is “Bark University.” If your dog doesn’t like any items in the box, let BarkBox know and they’ll send you a replacement for free!

There is also a secondary BarkBox option, it’s called the Super Chewer Box. It includes 4-6 Super Chewer items and is made for dogs who need a challenge. The toys and chews are even tougher and sturdier than what’s included in the regular box. With the way our dogs quickly chew through toys, I thought they’d need this, but surprisingly they don’t!

Cost:

  • $29.00 (BarkBox) or $39.00 (Super Chewer) per month.
  • $25.00 (BarkBox) or $34.00 (Super Chewer) per month with a 6-month plan.
  • $21.00 (BarkBox) or $29.00 (Super Chewer) per month with a 12-month plan.
  • There is a $5.00 shipping charge outside of the contiguous 48 states.

September 2017 BarkBox Value:

  • $40.00

Shipping: The first time you order a box you can expect it to arrive in 2-8 business days in the US and in 7-12 business days if you live in the outer US or in Canada. After the initial box, your boxes will be shipped on the 15th of every month.

Cancellation: You can easily cancel your subscription on BarkBox’s website, just sign into your account, click “Subscriptions,” and then click “Cancel Next Plan.”

Bark University Acceptance Letter

There is a whole array of themed items that could have been included in my September 2017 BarkBox, but these are the awesome items my Boston Terriers received:

  • Rad Chad – $12.00
  • Bark Pong Champion – $10.00
  • Cheesy Furrito Treats – $8.00
  • Frat House Lambda Strips – $6.00
  • Beef Jerky Stick – $4.00
  • Bark University Acceptance Letter 🙂 They’re in!

This month’s toys are hilarious. I’m so happy we got the Bark Pong Champion toy, out of all of the toys we could have received, I find this one to be the most amusing.

 THE TOYS
Let me start by saying that one box is meant for one dog, but I’ll be honest, we split the one box between our 2 Boston Terriers and that works out fine. Usually, between the 2 of them, they’ll destroy one toy almost immediately, but the 2nd one will LAST. This is shocking to me because, as I mentioned, our dogs are chewers. I’ve never seen toys last as long in our house as these have. We still have several toys from past boxes that show no sign of being torn apart anytime soon.
