Back to School Makeup Look

For some of you, a new school year has already begun! For others, the first day is coming, but it's not quite here yet. For most of us, school days are long gone. :-) No matter what your current status, we can all enjoy a great Back to School Makeup Look!

I created this look using some of the new makeup products that where included in my Peripera Fashion People Carrier Set. This look is easy to apply in the morning and clean looking, making it a great option for school days (or work days). Keep scrolling for the look and every cosmetic I used to apply it!

I remember getting ready for school each morning, it was like getting ready for a one day fashion show. This was especially true for the first day of school, that is when I would really pull out all the stops.

Has this changed? I don’t think so. When I say school in this sense though, I mean Middle School and High School. College was a completely different experience.

Those who went to morning classes looking like they were heading to the club were totally mocked. In college it was all about sleeping in as long as possible and making yourself look minimally presentable.

Again, still true? Let me know! 🙂 Lucky for me, I was a dance major so sweats, pulled back hair, and little makeup was the norm!

How to do your makeup for school

What I Used to Create This Look

×Peripera Ink Concealer

×Peripera Ink Multi Shadowing

×Peripera Vivid Tint Water

×The Body Shop Tea Tree Flawless BB Cream

×Adorn Cosmetics Mineral Brow Dust

×theBalm Schwing Liquid Eyeliner

×Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash Curling & Lifting Mascara

×Marc Jacobs Beauty Glow Stick Glistening Illuminator

×Glow Cult Cosmetics Rose Water Priming and Setting Mist

You’ll notice that I did not add eyeshadow to this look. I used to wear eyeshadow (and lots of it) to school/work, but I’m more into simplistic makeup looks these days. More often than not, I skip eyeshadow entirely.

Overall, I think the look in this post creates a great balance between looking put together and keeping things low key, bridging together my past and present makeup styles.

  1. You look amazing in your makeup product. I have tried many of your makeup products and they work wonders on my skin. The tea tree flawless BB cream is my all-time favorite. I never step out without applying this cream on my skin. Should try out the products mentioned above, especially the tint water and the liquid eyeliner.
