Petit Vour July 2017 Subscription Box Review

Here is my Petit Vour July 2017 Subscription Box Review. Since last month's box was meh, I'm happy to see a significant improvement in what's included in this month's box!

The Petit Vour Break Down:

Petit Vour is a non-toxic, vegan, and cruelty free monthly beauty subscription box. Petit Vour is known as “the crème de la cruelty free.” According to their FAQ:

Petit Vour (peh-tee vohr) is a Frenglish word derived from the French confectionary, “petit four.” A petit vour is a small, cruelty-free luxury—non-toxic, vegan, and ethically made. Petit Vour boxes contain a selection of such things and are curated for the modern, ethical woman.

The products in this beauty box are large enough to thoroughly try out in your normal beauty routine. By the time you’ve finished the sample, you should have an idea of whether you’d like to buy the full size product or not. Sometimes full size products are included in the box. Once you subscribe to this box, you complete a beauty profile to receive skin, body, makeup, and hair care products tailored to your preferences.

Inside my July 2017 Petit Vour box, I found the following products:

  • R.L. Linden & Co. La Balmba Rosa – $9
  • OSEA Sea Minerals Mist – $16 (Full-size, $38)
  • Zabana Essentials Sugar + Salt Body Scrub – $4 (Full-size, $17)
  • Adorn Mineral Brow Dust – $5 (Full-size, $24)
  • TAY Essential Oils Bar Soap in Juniper Lake – $4 (Full-size, $16)

In addition to these products, there was a postcard that had a cute XOXO illustration on one side and info. on all of the included products on the other.

1.) R.L. Linden & Co. La Balmba Rosa – $9
The first product that I pulled out and immediately put on was the R.L. Linden & Co. La Balmba Rosa. If there is a lip product in a subscription box, it’s safe to say that I’m going to open it up and swipe it on right away. I can’t resist! This moisturizing lip balm has a semi-gloss finish. As described on the info. card, “It adds more moisture than a gloss and more shine than a balm.”

2.) OSEA Sea Minerals Mist – $16 (Full-size, $38)

The next product that I opened up and then spritzed on was the OSEA Sea Minerals Mist. I love face mists and am always ready to try out a new one. The Sea Minerals Mist reduces the appearance of surface redness and pores. It also nourishes and prepares the skin for serums and moisturizers.

3.) Zabana Essentials Sugar + Salt Body Scrub – $4 (Full-size, $17)

This Zabana Essentials Sugar + Salt Body Scrub is a blend of plant botanicals and minerals that exfoliates your skin to get rid of dead skin, revealing softer, smoother, moisturized skin.

4.) Adorn Mineral Brow Dust – $5 (Full-size, $24)

I next checked out the Adorn Mineral Brow Dust. This brow dust is perfect for summer, because it’s long-wearing and water and sweat resistant. You can apply this with a wet or dry angle brush. I’m looking forward to trying out both methods of application to see what works best.

5.) TAY Essential Oils Bar Soap in Juniper Lake – $4 (Full-size, $16)
This bar soap smells so good! In fact, when I initially opened my Petit Vour box the scent floated out. The blend of essential oils in this soap provides you with aromatherapy and detoxification. I’m looking forward to using this bar soap and washing my stress away.

Bottom Line:  This month’s box was a huge improvement over last month’s! It included 4 deluxe samples and one full size product, also no fragrance samples! I’m looking forward to using each and every product and think I will really enjoy all of them.

Have you tried Petit Vour?

If so, what did you think? If not, would you like to?
