Concealer Foundation Makeup Makeup Look Summer

Colorful Festival Makeup Tutorial

Follow along with this colorful festival makeup tutorial to create your next festival makeup look!

Festival season is in full swing! FYI: my little one just attended her very 1st festival a few weeks ago. We took her to the ID10T Festival hosted by Chris Hardwick and she had a wonderful experience. Everyone was loving on her little Wonder Woman outfit. Anyway, here is how I did my makeup for Day 1 of the Festival. For a colorful festival makeup look, give this tutorial a try!

Always start with the basics. For a flawless and smooth complexion I used Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Foundation and Sonia Kashuk Concealer. I smoothed out the application of this foundation and concealer by using a beautyblender.

A little unconventional, but I filled in my brows with eyeshadow. I used the shade Faint from the Urban Decay ‘Naked Basics’ Palette.

The bold purple eyeshadow used in this look is from the BH Cosmetics Club Tropicana – 28 Color Foil Eyeshadow Palette. I brushed this eyeshadow over my entire eye lid and blended it into a beige-gold shadow from the same palette that was applied to my brown bone and the inner corners of my eyes. The purple shadow is SO pigmented, I love it! The false lashes I’m wearing are also from BH Cosmetics, they are from the Studio Pro Lashes collection. But don’t apply these yet! Apply your false lashes or mascara after you’ve swiped on your eyeliner.

The liquid liner that I used to line my top lash line and create a wing is theBalm Schwing! Black Liquid Liner. I used two more pencil eyeliners on my lower lash line. In the outer corner of my waterline I used the Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Eye Crayon. On the inside of my waterline, I used the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk.

To pull the look together I brushed on the blush, highlighter, and bronzer from the Urban Decay ‘Naked Flushed’ Bronzer, Highlighter & Blush Palette. I used the blush and highlighter on my cheeks and the bronzer on my forehead and the sides of my nose. I swiped on just a touch of Too Faced Lip Injection Glossy in Milkshake (Nude) to add a bit of shine to my lips.
