What to Wear to a Music Festival

When Chris Hardwick announced the ID10T Music Festival and Comic Conival, my husband and I knew that this was a festival not to be missed!

We were ecstatic to discover that the festival would be right here in the Bay Area and that our little one would be able to attend! It was a stroller friendly affair. We snapped up 2-day passes and anxiously waited for the event to roll around. The weather was ideal and we had an excellent time. When planning my look for day 1 of the festival, I had the goal of looking stylish and just a teeny bit nerdy. I think I achieved my goal, do you agree? πŸ™‚

Nerdy Festival Outfit
Yeah, my hair idol Jessica Chobot is on that stage in the background!!!

I went with an oversized, cropped navy blue tank top and form-fitting black mini-skirt. Under the navy blue tank, I wore my Suicide Squad printed crop top.

I affixed a Destiny Warlock patch to my oversized tank to add a little more nerd to my look. I don’t want to have the patch there all the time, so I just used some double-sided fashion tape to attach it.

Casual Festival Outfit

To tap into the music festival vibe, I put on a silver body chain from BaubleBar.

I love that my little one’s lovey made it into this pic. Yup, it’s Ice Bat (an Ugly Doll dressed up as Batman).

I finished my look with my gray Nine West booties and an Om bracelet. I must say that overall, my outfit was pretty comfortable, except for the body chain. The body chain got annoying so I ended up taking it off.

What I’m Wearing:

  1. Navy Blue Crop Top – Ambiance (Boutique in San Francisco)
  2. Cotton Black Mini-Skirt – Cotton Basics (Boutique in San Francisco)
  3. Gray Booties – Nine West
  4. Suicide Squad Crop Top – Black Milk Clothing
  5. Destiny Warlock Patch – Loot Crate
  6. Silver Body Chain – BaubleBar
  7. Om Bracelet – Alex and Ani

The little one is wearing a Wonder Woman dress from Target and gold sparkly shoes from Mini Melissa.

Let me gush about this festival a little more . . . we saw live music, attended some panels, rode a mechanical dinosaur, ate delicious food, and got fake tattoos! It was a huge success, in my opinion, and I’m looking forward to attending next year.

What do you think of this festival outfit and my subtle nerd references? πŸ™‚
