Noe Valley Farmers Market

The Noe Valley Farmers’ Market is a year-round California certified farmers’ market that takes place every Saturday from 8:00am to 1:00pm. It is located in the Noe Valley Town Square, between Sanchez Street and Vicksburg Street. This farmer’s market is primarily run by volunteers and encourages its patrons to shop locally by not only purchasing fruits and vegetables form the vendors at the market, but by shopping at the small businesses bordering the Noe Valley Town Square.

So, when visiting the farmers’ market what kinds of goodies can you expect to find? The Noe Valley Farmers Market is bursting with fresh fruits, vegetables, honey, cheeses, bread, and olive oil. You can also grab some ready made snacks or lunch, there are fresh-pressed juices, bagels, pretzels, Mexican dishes, and Indian cuisine available to enjoy.

Here is a list of the vendors you can expect to see:

  • Capay Organic
  • Garden Variety Cheese
  • Happy Boy Farms
  • Hidden Star Orchards
  • Malik Ranch
  • Synders Honey
  • Swanton Berry Farm
  • Tomatero Organic Farm
  • Twin Girls Farms
  • Drewes Meats
  • El Buen Comer
  • Juicey Lucy’s
  • Le Dix-Sept
  • Sour Flour Bread
  • Sukhi’s Gourmet Indian Cuisine.

When visiting this farmers’ market, be sure to bring the little ones! In addition to the vendors, there is live music and the mini-playground at the back of the square (walking path, climbing wall, and slide) that my little one loves. BTW, the musicians that perform here do so without pay! If possible, show your support and gratefulness to them by purchasing one of their merch. items, like a t-shirt or CD.
