While the weather is getting warmer and warmer in the rest of the US, the temperatures are a bit chilly here in San Francisco during the summer. That’s why I decided to dress myself in a long-sleeve shirt, jeans, and oversized cardigan when getting ready to visit the weekly Noe Valley Farmers Market. For this outfit, I wanted to be comfortable, casual, and effortless.
The beige cardigan I chose to wear with my long-sleeve black shirt and black jeans created a color-blocking effect. I like that the head-to-toe black that I was wearing was broken up by the beige cardigan, and also by my tan fringe sandals. Since the cardigan is oversized and I have a petite frame, sandals that gave me some height were a must. Without the added inches, the cardigan would have overpowered my look and looked sloppy instead of casually chic. Pics of my ensemble and a list of the brands I’m wearing are below. What are your thoughts on this look? Be sure to let me know in the comments!
