Birchbox is a monthly beauty box dedicated to hair, skin, and style. Every month you can expect to receive 5 sample size products specifically picked just for you. You’ll also receive a card detailing each product included in the box, how to use it, and when to use it. Stick with this post to see what was included in the May 2017 Birchbox box, mini descriptions of each product, photos, and the Birchbox monthly subscription box break down.
Inside of the shipping box, is the actual Birchbox box. This box is sturdy and specially designed to be reused; several boxes would be very helpful in organizing your vanity. Opening up this box, the first thing I pulled out was the informational card. This card featured this month’s theme, which is “Low Effort High Impact,” on one side and product information on the other.
After taking a quick look at this insert, I dove right in to see what products I received. So, what’s in the May 2017 Birchbox? Here’s what I got:
- Living Proof Perfect Hair Day (PhD) In-Shower Styler
- Marcelle New-Age LumiPower 3-in-1 Moisturizer
- ModelCo Illusion Lip Pencil
- Vasanti BrightenUp! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator
- Whish Firming Body Cream.
The first product I tried was the Whish Firming Body Cream. I’ve been wanting to try this brand and was very excited that I finally had the opportunity to. This lotion is luxurious and will give you smoother skin that will appear toned, firmed, and flawless. The scent is subtle and fresh.
The next product I tried was the Marcelle New-Age LumiPower 3-in-1 Moisturizer. This product has a gel-like consistency that absorbs into the skin quickly. Being a multitasking moisturizer, this product will fight signs of aging, protect your skin from environmental stressors, and give your skin a lovely glow. I also love that this can be used as a day cream, night cream, and eye cream.
I next grabbed the Living Proof Perfect Hair (PhD) In-Shower Styler. This product is meant to be used after washing your hair. Work it into your hair and then rinse. Air-dry your hair for soft waves and manageability, so easy!
The ModelCo Illusion Lip Pencil was the next product I tried. This lip pencil is universal and can be used with any and every lip color to make your lips look fuller and more defined.
The last beauty product I tried was the Vasanti BrightenUp! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator. This product is an exfoliator that gives your skin a glowing and smooth look. You can use this 3-5 times a week.
