This outfit of the day (OOTD) was put together with taking a walk around our new neighborhood in mind. My family and I just moved to Noe Valley in San Francisco just a few weeks ago and we are absolutely loving it! It’s a super family-friendly area, nicknamed “Stroller valley” so we fit right in. This is a very hilly area, making walks a little difficult but absolutely beautiful.
In addition to begin comfortable while climbing the San Francisco hills, this outfit showcases the current patch trend. I loved this trend as soon as it made its debut in the fashion word, but being me knew I couldn’t just buy something that already had patches on it. I needed to create my own patched look. I purchased a plain white tee from Alternative Apparel, a fair trade clothing company, and began collecting patches. Representing my 2 favorite places, I purchased a patch from Mood Fabrics in NYC and a couple of pastel colored patches from Azalea Boutique in the Mission District of San Francisco. I picked up the last patch from Michael’s in Redwood City, it was cute and cheap so I thought, why not? Although I’m happy with how the t-shirt is looking with these patches, I’d like to add a couple to the back too. Take a look at my outfit and a pic from our walk below!
