For today’s spring makeup how to, I did light and bright makeup using pinks and plenty of highlighter to maintain a flattering look that is right on trend for Spring. Keep reading for my step-by-step spring makeup tutorial so you can recreate this makeup look for yourself!
I began by cleansing, toning, and moisturizing. After completing that quick skincare routine, I applied a primer.
To begin my makeup application, I started with color correcting concealer. I applied a yellow shade to cover the dark circles under my eyes, and then I applied a green shade to cover up redness on my cheeks and chin.
Next, I applied my foundation and concealer that matches my skin tone. I patted this concealer under my eyes and on any other areas that needed it. I then filled in my eyebrows.
Now, it’s eyeshadow time! I applied a light opalescent pink to my entire lid, then I accented my crease with a deeper pink that has a hint of red in it. On my lids, I applied a light, but rich brown. Lastly, I highlighted the inner and outer corners of my eyes with a bright and shimmering vanilla.
For the next step, I defined my eyes with a liquid liner along my upper lash line. I applied a black pencil liner to the outer corners of my lower lash line. I also highlighted the inner corners of my lower lash line with a white eyeliner. On my lashes, I applied a volumizing and lengthening mascara to my upper lashes and the outer corners of my lower lashes.
For the icing on the cake, I applied a coral-y pink blush. I added a highlighter along the top of my cheek bone, the bridge of my nose, and the middle of my cupid’s bow (upper lip). I also swiped on a pale pink lipstick with a silver shimmer in it. Lastly, I spritzed on a highlighting finishing spray.
