When it comes to foundation, I have a long list of demands for the product I choose to put on my face. With all of the time and effort put into my skincare routine, I’m not going to let a sub-par foundation ruin the look of my skin. Because I have combination skin and large pores, I look for oil-free, pore-minimising, and mattifying formulas when testing out foundations. I also prefer foundation that is non-comedogenic. Non-comedogenic means that a product is formulated to not cause blocked pores. One example of a foundation that meets my needs is Clarins Face Make-Up Ever Matte Pore-Minimising Mattifying Foundation SPF 15. It has 2 of my musts listed right in its name!
In addition to what I already mentioned above, this foundation is also skin-balancing. Glowing is the big makeup trend of the moment, but being shiny is not. There is a difference! This foundation will prevent an oily, greasy look from developing throughout the day, letting your highlighter be the only thing that makes your skin sparkle and shine.
I received this foundation from Notino.com, and that is where it can be purchased.
Depending on what you’re already using, this face makeup could become a permanent fixture in your makeup bag. Since it includes SPF, be sure to use this in the morning on a daily basis after moisturizing.
Being the #1 high-end beauty brand in France and Europe, you can and should expect nothing but the best when purchasing Clarins products. I’m pleased to say that this face make-up is no exception. It has a pleasant floral scent that isn’t overwhelming. This makeup gives your face a balanced, flawless look. It’s pretty impressive!
Notino.com has a great price on this foundation, Clarins Face Make-Up Ever Matte can be purchased for $26.53. Other sellers have this foundation listed for upwards of $40.00.
Bottom Line: After using this foundation, my face had a matte finish, as promised, that lasted throughout the day. I’m really pleased with this makeup and the fact that it delivers on all of its promises.
