theBalm Voyage Vol.2 Review and Swatches

Today's product review is all about a travel-friendly palette that condenses many makeup musts into one little container.

theBalm Voyage Vol.II Travel Palette

When traveling, I always try to pack as many multi-use items as I can. This saves space, allowing me to travel as light as possible. I’m pretty good at utilizing every item that I pack, and I haven’t checked luggage since my husband and I went to Europe for almost 10 days close to 7 years ago. Today’s product review is all about a travel-friendly palette that condenses many makeup musts into one little container. theBalm Voyage Vol.2 palette includes nine eyeshadows, a bronzer, a highlighter, two blushes, and two lip-and-cheek creams.

Use them wet for vivid color and extremely precise application. The exclusive shades in this palette are: Welcome, Bienvenue, Bienvenido, Benvenuto, Tervetuloa, Welkom, Willkommen, Valkommen, and Failte. The highlighter is named Kuwakaribisha and the Bronzer is named Croeso. The more neutral shade of blush is called Huan Ying, and the darker pink is called Dobrodosli. When it comes to travel, this palette is perfection. That is not all that it is good for though, it’s great for packing in your gym bag, throwing in your purse, or simplifying your everyday makeup routine by combining several products into one.

Full Face Makeup Palette with Tutorial Cards

I am a huge fan of this palette, for travel and everyday use. The multitude of colors allows you to put together endless combinations and therefore, create endless looks. If you’d like a little inspiration, there are suggested color combinations in the lower flap of the palette’s cover. The large round mirror included in the packaging allows you to apply your desired look anywhere, anytime. It doesn’t come with any brushes or applicators, so that it something extra you’ll have to remember when traveling with this palette.

Notino.com has a great price on this palette, they’re selling it for $22.89. Other sites, including thebalm.com, are selling it for $39.50.

Bottom Line: If you’re a girl on the go, looking for a way to cut down on the number of products you need to take with you, theBalm Voyage Palette is exactly what you need. This is a high-quality, cruelty free collection of colors in one sleek and thin palette.
