My Outfit for a Day of Play

This outfit of the day (OOTD) was put together with going to the park and running errands in mind. I wanted to be comfy and cute. I also wanted to be able to get dressed quickly and get out the door. On this particular day, my little one and I went to the Magical Bridge Playground in Palo Alto, had lunch at Ada’s Cafe, and then ran errands later in the day after the little one’s nap. Take a look – pics of my outfit are below, followed by a list of what I’m wearing and quick descriptions of the Magical Bridge Playground and Ada’s Cafe.

What I’m Wearing:

  1. Sunglasses – Knockarounds
  2. Short Necklace – Kate Spade New York
  3. Longer Necklace – Marc by Marc Jacobs

  5. Jeans – Top Shop
  6. Sneakers – Coach
  7. Earrings & Diaper Bag – Henri Bendel

The Magical Bridge Playground is my favorite place for my daughter to play because it is so innovative, and it is accessible to everyone! This playground is inclusive to kids of all cognitive and physical abilities, meaning everyone, even those with disabilities can play together. My little one loves exploring the different zones of this playground and can explore a lot of them without my help. A few of her favorites are the Spin Zone and the Swing and Sway Zone, with her number 1 pick being the Slide Mound. Here are some pics from our visit:

Ada’s Cafe is located in the same park as the Magical Bridge Playground. It is a great place to grab lunch after playing in the park. The food choices include pastries, sandwiches, soups, and salads. There is also a children’s menu and breakfast menu. If you’re just looking for something to sip on, they serve a variety of hot and cold beverages too. To order, simply walk up to the counter. After your order has been taken, you can sit and relax until your meal is brought to you. There is limited seating inside the cafe, with slightly more outside. Here is a look at what I ordered, the Wonderful Wendy:

What is your favorite playground to take your kids to? It doesn’t have to be in the Bay Area, it can be anywhere! Thank you for reading and be sure to check out Monday’s post: A Lovely Light Pink Makeup Look.
